Wai Fat Wong was sentenced today at the High Court in Auckland on four charges related to drug possession and supply.
The 68-year-old began his drug operation in 2016, and moved an estimated 66 million dollars of meth into New Zealand.
Wong received the harshest sentence of the seven people involved in the operation - because of his lead role.
