Akira Ioane's open to a permanent switch to the number six jersey

Akira Ioane's open to a permanent switch to the number six jersey

The loose forward's played at blindside flanker in the Blues last three Super Rugby Aotearoa games, with the in-form Hoskins Sotutu maintaining his place at number eight.

Ioane had been a constant at the back of the scrum since making his debut in 2015.

He says the current setup has helped secure wins.

The Blues face the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday.
