Vince Aso has been handed the job of filling Ngani Laumape's sizeable boots for the Hurricanes

Vince Aso has been handed the job of filling Ngani Laumape's sizeable boots for the Hurricanes

Laumape's out for the rest of the Super Rugby season with a broken arm, with Aso handed the 12 jersey for Saturday's match against the Chiefs in Wellington.

In other changes, Wes Goosen switches to the left wing in place of the departed Ben Lam with Kobus Van Wyk coming onto the right wing.

Co-captain Dane Coles and one-test All Black Tyrel Lomax return to the front row with Ben May switching from tighthead to loosehead.

There's no place in the match-day 23 for returning former All Black wing Julian Savea.
