Invercargill will still host next weekend's ANZ netball Premiership final between the Central Pulse and Mainland Tactix despite the match going behind closed doors

Invercargill will still host next weekend's ANZ netball Premiership final between the Central Pulse and Mainland Tactix despite the match going behind closed doors

Crowds will not be allowed for Finals day, which originally was going to feature the grand final as well as games for third and fifth place.

They've now both been scrapped, with the Auckland-based Mystics and Stars - due to play off for third - locked down while the Magic also won't travel south.

The Waikato-Bay of Plenty side was due to play off with the Southern Steel.

The Steel are now expected to play a curtain-raiser against a composite team instead.
