The real estate industry is putting a brave face on Auckland's covid restrictions

Century 21 New Zealand owner Derryn Mayne says they've operated safely and effectively in Alert Level 3 before, and Auckland's real estate industry will do so again.

She says going into spring is always a good time to sell property, particularly this year given the current lack of listings.

Real Estate Institute New Zealand CEO Bindi Norwell agrees, saying the last time we were in Level 3, there was a slow down in sellers.

She says this time round she feels sellers now know that there are a lot of buyers out there and that the market is in a much better place, than the previous lockdown.
