    Calls for Aucklanders to register their Auckland Transport Hop cards, in case they need to be used for Covid-19 contact tracing


    From Friday, QR codes need to be displayed on public transport.

    Metro Services group manager Stacey van der Putten says not every person using public transport has a smart phone to register QR codes.

    She's encouraging people to check that their Hop cards are fully registered and up to date.

    You can do that on the Auckland Transport website.
