Green School funding has other schools feeling like the poor cousin

Reports by Newshub reveal Green party co-leader James Shaw wouldn't sign off on $3 billion dollars of infrastructure projects, unless Taranaki's private school was included.
Shaw has apologised for his error of judgement in granting $11.7 million to a private school - something that runs counter to Green Party principles.
Pressure's growing on him to quit his role as co-leader of the party.
Taranaki Secondary School Principals Association head Martin Chamberlain says it's a kick in the teeth for other local schools who are struggling.
He says some school facilities have 'third-world conditions' and this grant is an insult to the profession.
