Thousand of frontline nurses will take to the streets tomorrow -- over pay parity issues

More than three thousand general practice nurses and 500 administration staff across the country will strike.
The New Zealand Nurses Organisation says mediation with employers failed to reach an agreement yesterday.
Industrial advisor for the public health sector Chris Wilson says the situation is not good enough-- considering negotiations had been ongoing for nearly a year.
They want the same pay as their District Health Board colleagues -- who earn about 11 per cent more.
Chris Wilson says nothing tangible has come from discussions.
