Auckland's lockdown has had very little impact on the city's housing sector

New Barfoot and Thompson figures show prices reached all-times highs in August, and sales were the highest for any August in five years.
The average sales price was more than 995-thousand -- up seven percent on the same time last year.
The median price was about 911-thousand -- 9.8 percent higher than last year.
