SkyCity chief executive Graeme Stephens says the bounce- back following lockdown was faster than expected

The company's net profit after tax is down nearly 60 percent for the year ending June, to just over $66 million - which is on the upper end of its indicated range.
Stephens says the expectation was against the forecast they developed when they raised capital back in June.
He says when they were able to re-open domestic businesses came back much stronger than they had anticipated at the time.
