The AA is calling for higher breath testing rates on our roads

In the last five years, road deaths involving alcohol have increased, and breath testing numbers have decreased.
AA road safety spokesman Dylan Thomsen says those stats need to be flipped around.
He says New Zealand needs more of a police presence on the roads, to find people who drink and drive.
He says if people see officers out testing more people, they aren't going to get behind the wheel.
