A huge allocation of funding to support the transition to sustainable farming is being promised by the Green Party

It's pledging almost 300-million-dollars to help farmers and growers transition to climate-friendly practices, and ensure land use is sustainable, if elected to Government.
The funding is part of the Party's Farming for the Future Plan
Co-leader James Shaw says it would be in addition to more than 700-million-dollars the Government has already put in.
He says many farmers want to shift to more sustainable farming - but find it tough because of the their financial situations.
