ACT wants to let SOME overseas visitors in to help tourism thrive in this Covid world

ACT wants to let SOME overseas visitors in to help tourism thrive in this Covid world

Party leader David Seymour says Covid-19 restrictions are holding the sector back - and the Party wants to change that.

ACT is proposing tax cuts to help - including lowering GST to 10 per cent for a year.

It would also change border restrictions to let what the party calls "high-value foreign tourists" into the country.

The Party is also proposing to change tourists' quarantine times - based on the Covid-19 or public health status in their originating country.
