The real estate industry is backing Labour's housing announcement to look into the Unit Titles Act

The real estate industry is backing Labour's housing announcement to look into the Unit Titles Act

If re-elected the party will review and amend the act, for greater transparency to consumers when buying apartments or townhouses run by bodies corporate.

Real Estate Institute Chief Executive Bindi Norwell, says the current bill is no longer fit for purpose, and is long overdue for review.

She says they've long been advocating for this, and it will provide much more clarity to purchasers of a property.
