9 October 2020
The party announced its law and order policy today - which has a strong focus on wellbeing.
The Maori Pathways programme has been designed with the help of iwi for prisons in Hawke's Bay and Northland.
If re-elected, Corrections spokesperson Kelvin Davis says they'll introduce it to Christchurch Women's Prison.
He says prison rehabilitation needs to be especially designed for women as they have different needs to male prisoners.
