That means that Lewis Road Creamery's founder Peter Cullinane will step away from the business now fully owned by agricultural fund investor Southern Pastures.
He says it's been an incredible journey that started with a simple idea at his kitchen table.
Cullinane says he can leave knowing it's in the hands of investors who are integrity farmers.
Lewis Road Creamery made a splash in 2014 when its new chocolate milk was going off shelves as fast as they could be filled.
