The operator of Northland's Marsden Point Refinery plans to cut 90 staff within the next four months.
Marsden Point -- the country's only oil refinery -- will also scale back production from next year from 115-thousand barrels a day to about 90-thousand.
It will also stop producing bitumen, a residue from petroleum distillation used for road surfacing and roofing.
