Diego Maradona, who led Argentina to World Cup glory in 1986, has passed away at age 60.
His footballing genius is being remembered, as is the infamous "Hand of God" goal in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final against England.
Gary Linker, who played in that game, has tweeted that Maradona was "by some distance the best player of my generation and arguably the greatest of all time."
He's added that after a blessed but troubled life, Maradona will "hopefully finally find some comfort in the hands of God".
Maradona died two weeks after being released from hospital following brain surgery.
