    Police continue to appeal for information about a Northland kidnapping and shooting


    On October 26 a victim was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint by two men, on State Highway 10 near Waipapa.

    Just after four the next morning, two men stopped their car in front of a Police vehicle, on State Highway 11, near Puketona Junction - and fired, damaging the police car's windscreen.

    Anyone with information should call 105 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
