Housing is increasingly being seen as a 'one-way bet'

ASB's third quarter Housing Confidence survey shows confidence in the market continues to rise, and Kiwis continue to expect prices will climb.
Senior economist Mike Jones says most respondents only see house prices as going up.
But he warns that could see over-confidence from sellers in the market - which feeds into the pressure the Reserve Bank and Government face over slowing price gains.
Jones says housing supply is a key issue ... and on the ground it's seeing packed open-homes and houses selling before auction.
