    Auckland City Mission has created a new, Covid-19 friendly Christmas tradition


    Instead of having one large lunch with hundreds of people at a single venue, the Mission put on five events at different locations around the city yesterday.

    CEO Chris Farrelly says Covid-19 has made them think about how things are done.

    He says yesterday's lunch was more community based, and localised.

    He says it might be the best formula, moving forward.
