Auckland's dams remain stubbornly low - although residents are continuing to conserve water

In the past week, the Hunua and Waitakere Ranges have seen about 44 millimetres of rain each.
Dams are a little over 67 per cent full, compared to the usual almost 88 per cent at this time of year.
The region is still under water restrictions...with a target to use 461-million litres or less per day.
But the rolling seven-day average of consumption is well under that...by 61-million litres.
