The Police Association is calling on the Government to keep its promise of boosting police numbers

Recruitment has been frozen in the force -- as it's revealed Labour's promise to grow police ranks by 1800 over three years will take closer to five years.
Association president Chris Cahill (CAR-hil) says low attrition rates have hamstrung police.
He says the Government should bring forward its funding -- so that the doors remain open to potential police officers.
