Jason Sudeikis is hopeful about "repairing things" with Olivia Wilde

A source told People magazine of the former couple: "He is absolutely heartbroken about the split. There is still a lot of love there, and he would like to have hope that maybe there’s a way for them to repair things. But what happens next remains to be seen."

It comes after it was claimed Harry Styles has struck up a romance with Olivia.

The 26-year-old singer and the 36-year-old actress - who recently worked together on ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ - were spotted holding hands whilst at a friend’s wedding over the weekend, and sources have now claimed the pair have actually been dating for “a few weeks”.

An insider said: "They were in Montecito, California this weekend for a wedding. They were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy. They have dated for a few weeks."

And their friendship was said to have "quickly turned romantic".

An insider shared: "What started out as a close friendship, quickly turned romantic. Everyone saw it coming. During breaks, he hasn't been able to stay away and visited her trailer."

Olivia split from Jason early last year but it wasn't reported until November time.

A source said: "The split happened at the beginning of the year. It's been amicable. They've transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family's relationship."
