Prime Minster Jacinda Ardern says she'll be getting vaccinated against Covid-19 ahead of the public rollout

Some country's leaders - like Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison - were among the first to get vaccinated.

But Ardern said it was important initial stock went to border workers who needed it most.

However, she's confirmed to the Herald she won't be waiting until the middle of the year when the public rollout starts.

She says she hasn't decided exactly when ... and acknowledges it could allow her to travel overseas again, for what she says will be trade-related trips.
