She's tossed 73.55 metres, beating the standard required for Tokyo by a metre and five centimetres.
It's also a New Zealand and Oceania record.
Zoe Hobbs has won the women's 100 metres and Shay Veitch the men's, Dame Valerie Adams and Tom Walsh the respective shot put titles and Imogen Wells the women's pole vault.
