Thousands have demonstrated in the UK against a proposed law that would give police extra powers to curb protests

The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts bill would toughen measures officers can take to disperse people.
"Kill the Bill" marches have been held in dozens of towns and cities.
Nearly all of them were peaceful but there were minor clashes in central London between protesters and police.
London's Metropolitan Police say there were 26 arrests and 10 officers were injured, although none seriously.
