    The Cancer Society wants similar regulations around sunscreen here as in Australia


    National MP Todd Muller's sunscreen bill recently passed its first reading in the house.

    It calls for better standardised safety requirements for all sun lotion products.

    However, the Cancer Society wants sunscreen treated as a medicine allowing even more protections to be put in place.
