On the day President Joe Biden talked of the need for gun control reforms, there have been two deadly shootings in the US

The first took place in North Carolina where former NRL player Philip Adams is thought to have killed a doctor and his family, including two grandchildren, before turning the gun on himself.

And in Texas - one person is dead and four others are fighting for life after a gunman opened fire at the cabinet-making business where he worked.

Police say a suspect is in custody.
