The mass murderer is serving life imprisonment without parole and was also convicted under terrorism laws.
The gunman had sought a judicial review over his prison conditions and his designation as a terrorist entity.
A minute released by the High Court says the application's now been withdrawn and the proceedings have ended.
The terrorist is being held with two others in a facility known as the Prisoners of Extreme Risk Unit.
His life in jail without parole is the first time in New Zealand's history such a term has been imposed.
