Local councils need to leave infrastructure decisions to the experts according to Infrastructure New Zealand

New Zealand local government will be undergoing a review into how it functions and what its role is.
The review was announced by Minister of Local Government Nanaia Mahuta yesterday.
Infrastructure New Zealand's Hamish Glenn says council officials may not be qualified to make some decisions.
He says a background in infrastructure may be needed to make infrastructure decisions.
