We have no new community cases of Covid-19 ... and eight in MIQ since Sunday

We have no new community cases of Covid-19 ... and eight in MIQ since Sunday

All 39 close contacts of the Auckland airplane cleaner with Covid have tested negative.

A very weak positive has been detected in a wastewater sample in Auckland - in an area where 10 recovered people recently returned, after time in quarantine.

They are no longer infectious and there's no evidence the wastewater is, either.

The Ministry of Health's also been alerted to a person who travelled from Perth during its lockdown - landing in Auckland via Sydney, yesterday.

They're self-isolating in Northland -- and it's being investigated how they managed to get into the country.
