Concerns the high-price of a trip to the doctor is worsening New Zealand's health outcomes

Analysis from the Herald shows enrolled patients can pay between 10 and 70 dollars for an appointment in Auckland.
Even people with a Community Services Card could pay up to 90 dollars, if they aren't enrolled at the office they visit.
The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners says there are people who just can't afford it.
Medical Director Bryan Betty says without primary care, patients' health conditions will worsen, until they end up in the hospital.
He says having a regular GP who you can visit and who gets to know you, is an important part of medical care.
