    Scott Dixon has a chance at a slice of IndyCar history tomorrow morning following his 51st career victory at the Texas Motor Speedway today


    The Kiwi driver has taken the chequered flag in the first race of this weekend's doubleheader, handing him the championship lead.

    Win number 51 means he is just one short of tying Mario Andretti as the second winningest driver in the sport's history.

    Dixon's just pleased to be in the position he is.



    Dixon's compatriot Scott McLaughlin finished second for his first ever podium in just his fourth career race.
