    New Zealand Rugby allegedly turned down an offer for the All Blacks to play the Springboks in the Middle East


    A Dubai test would have worked as a build-up to the world champions' July series against the Lions.

    South African publication The Daily Maverick reports NZR had the fixture pitched to them.

    The offer was understood to have been turned down due to a scheduling conflict.

    A 14-day quarantine would have clashed with a scheduled test against Fiji on July 10.
