One of the victims of the Dunedin supermarket stabbing has been released from hospital, while three others continue their recovery

A Southern District Health Board spokesperson says the other victims are now in the general ward and progressing well.

The inner city Countdown opened its doors for the first time on Thursday since four people were stabbed in store earlier in the week.

A person faces four charges of attempted murder and will be back in court next month.
