Nurses call the latest DHB pay another slap in the face

Thousands of nurses across all 20 District Health Boards will strike on Wednesday after rejecting it.
This time around, the DHBs offered a lump sum payment of $4,000, which would be owed through the pay equity claim.

She says that lump sum doesn't translate onto the salary rates, which means there's no ongoing benefit of that increase.
