Three-year-old Amberlie Pennington-Foley died in August last year at Harcourt Park, while playing on a spinning ring called a Supernova.
Her father was standing on it and the little girl was sitting, when he lost his balance and fell, knocking the toddler to the ground and landing on her.
He immediately drove her to a nearby medical centre but she couldn't be revived.
She had suffered a skull fracture, brain and spinal cord injury.
Coroner Peter Ryan has today released his findings, calling the child's death a tragic accident in the true sense of the word.
He says the Supernova wasn't being operated in a dangerous or reckless manner.
Ryan says there are no comments or recommendations that could be made to reduce similar deaths.
