A report into our managed isolation hotels has found health resourcing is under pressure

The first independent assessment of MIQ lays out 82 recommendations -- with eight considered high priority.
One is addressing health staff shortages in Auckland -- where absences can cause a daily shortfall of up to 15 per cent of the workforce.
That creates potential lacks in daily health checks and support for returnee well-being.
MIQ joint head, Megan Main, says the pressure on their workforce ebbs and flows, depending on demand.
She says they're working closely with partners and DHBs to make sure they can adapt.
