Glenda Duff is charged with using insulting words while being reckless about alarming or insulting any person.
It relates to an incident captured on video at the Rangiora Farmers.
The 68-year-old was due at Christchurch District Court today - but did not appear in person.
Her case has been adjourned till August - and details of today's appearance have been suppressed.
