A 16th place finish for kiwi mountain biker Anton Cooper in his final World Cup race ahead of the Olympics

A 16th place finish for kiwi mountain biker Anton Cooper in his final World Cup race ahead of the Olympics

Cooper remains in sixth place in the overall season standings.

Heavy rain turned the french course into a mud bath, but that didn't stop Commonwealth Games champion Sam Gaze posting his best result of the year- he finished 31st with North Canterbury's Ben Oliver in 44th.
