The Southern Steel are relieved to have some back up in their shooting circle

5 July 2021

Tonight the southerners meet the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic for their round 12 ANZ Premiership netball match in Hamilton.

Last week the Steel were without English shooter George Fisher after suffering concussion, and Grace Namana stepped up in her absence - shooting 34 from 37 at 92 percent.

Steel skipper Shannon Saunders says Namana made the most of her opportunity.

Centre pass from Hamilton is at 7:15pm.

It's been confirmed George Fisher is available for selection for tonight's match.
