It wasn't to be for the Mainland Tactix - but they're still proud of their grand final performance

The Canterbury side were beaten by the Northern Mystics 61 - 59 in the 2021 ANZ Premiership final at Auckland's Spark Arena.

The Tactix came within two of the Mystics in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough to topple the Auckland side.

Tactix defender Karin Burger told Sky Sport her side was consistent and strong on defence.
