Ofa He Mooni Folau is one of four men charged in relation to the death of MMA fighter Fau Vake .
He has pleaded guilty to assault with intent to injure, and been given six months home detention.
Three others who've pleaded not guilty, will go on trial next year.
Steven Cullen says Folau was less involved, so shouldn't face harsher charges.
He says it appears he wasn't involved at the stage where the blows occurred that caused the death.
