Auckland and Kapiti motorists are being warned to expect delays, following a morning of major disruptions

A motorcyclist has moderate injuries, after a collision with another vehicle on the Te Atatu stretch of Auckland's North-Western Motorway.

Another person has minor injuries, after a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Nielson Street offramp of Auckland's South-Western Motorway.

Meanwhile, flooding, debris and a slip near Paekakariki, north of Wellington, is causing major problems for road and rail commuters this morning.

State Highway One is closed to all southbound traffic just south of Paekakariki.
