A Timaru high school is urging parents and caregivers to communicate with their children following the death of another young person

This has happened just 2 weeks after the community lost five teenagers in a car crash on August 7.
On a its Facebook page, Mountainview High School says the community has "tragically lost another young person this week".
The post says they are in uncharted territory at this time with the recent tragic events coinciding with a lockdown.
The school was unable to share details of the death but felt it needed to make parents and caregivers aware "to help minimise any further impact on tamariki".
