There could be a flurry of activity in the housing market when Auckland emerges from lockdown

The region's move to level three at midnight next Tuesday it depends on mystery Covid cases.
New Real Estate Institute figures show Auckland's median house price has increased by 26 percent to 1.2 million dollars in the last year.
Chief executive Jen Baird says activity's expected to lift when level four's over.
She says that's partly due to deals being finalised, and also the fact people have been getting their houses ready for market during lockdown.
