Two new Covid-19 community cases have emerged in the region.
One case from Raglan is self-isolating and will be moved to a quarantine facility, and another case from Hamilton East is in Waikato Hospital.
Several household contacts have been identified and are also self-isolating.
Covid-19 testing's being ramped up in the region as a result, and a number of exposure events are being worked through.
Meanwhile, further details are expected on a Covid-19-infected truck driver from Auckland who travelled to Palmerston North.
The Ministry of Health last night confirmed the case, and the person is isolating at a quarantine facility in Palmerston North.
