The Property Council is concerned about Auckland Council's plans to dramatically increase developer fees

The intention is to lift development contribution costs for developers in Drury by up to 660 percent.
Consultation on the plan ends on Sunday, with a final decision due in December.
Membership of the Property Council includes some of the largest commercial and residential property owners and developers in New Zealand.
Auckland chair Andrew Hay says it could affect other development areas.
He says if it applies in Drury, it will apply in other new greenfield areas in Auckland - areas that will become affordable housing areas.
