The United States is another step closer to vaccinating five to 11-year-olds

A Food and Drug Adminstration advisory panel has voted unanimously - with one abstention - that the vaccine's benefits in preventing Covid-19 in that age group outweigh any potential risks.
The FDA will consider the advice, before making its own decision in the coming days.
If it approves the vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will then decide whether to recommend the shots, and which children will get them.
